Don't Work Against Nature, Balance It!

TROUBLE SPOT! Everyone has one (or 2). Though once you get rolling on your fitness and start shedding layers, you may not think that spot is such trouble BUT there is a certain "form" we're all born with that can be difficult (if not impossible) to change - some are tall, some are small, some are wider, some are slimmer....

Instead of trying to change what simply "is", first be grateful these body parts are in working order. Second, shoot for *SYMMETRY*. That means, work other parts of your body to bring "trouble spots" into proportion. Example: If you were born with bigger legs, work on pulling out your shoulders and back which makes waist seem smaller and legs in proportion. If you need help with your "center", again, work to pull out and shape upper body so your middle appears smaller. This doesn't mean you should neglect your trouble spots, you shouldn't, just don't spend your entire workout trying to change that one spot. See your body as a whole and work to bring it all *together*.
