7 Ways to Honor Your HEART


1. MOVE. Nothing better for your heart to make it beat…hard! Pick a movement, class, or exercise that moves you and your heart works two-fold both in body and spirit. 

2. Take a piece of peace. 10 minutes or an hour, take some time alone with no worry, no guilt, and no *thing* to do but feel peace.

3. Put down work and electronics and really look at your children. Take in their faces, listen to their words. Use their energy to fill yours. 

4. Eat. Eat your health. There is nothing that has greater impact on and in, your body than what you eat. It helps create the most beautiful wrapper to a strong heart and strong guts, in every sense of the word. 

5. Listen to music. Headphone it, crank it, dance to it but move to it. 

6. Sit in your gratefuls. There will always be something to want; something to grumble about but live in the brightness of what you HAVE, the glory of what you've accomplished and what's right hazes out whats wrong. 

7. Stand your ground. Don't let anyone push you into being someone you don't want to be or devalue who you are. You were put here the way you are for a reason. Lift and enlighten yourself but don't change who you are.
